We committed $120,000 over two years to help MB2M expand their training capabilities statewide!
In 2022, to show our continued support, we donated another $15,000.
Maine Boys to Men “MB2M"
Seeks to end all forms of male violence and self-harm and to advance gender equity by supporting the development of self-aware, empathetic boys and men.
Lead their Reducing Sexism and Violence Program (RSVP™) in your community.
MB2M has over 20 years of experience in providing their Reducing Sexism and Violence Program (RSVP™), a curriculum to help youth and men reshape the way they think about masculinity and engage them to end male violence against self and others. RSVP™ is grounded in research, evidence-based practices, and self- and third-party evaluations.
Train-the-Trainer Program
In their Training Institute, they teach you how to bring RSVP™ to your school, educational program, community, or home. Just as important, you will connect with others doing the same work, to build a community of support.
The Training Institute covers six modules over two days:
• Module 1: Why Boys?
• Module 2: Gender Stereotypes
• Module 3: Empathy and Consent
• Module 4: Beyond the Binary and Narrow Masculinity
• Module 5: Upstander Intervention
• Module 6: Facilitation and Storytelling Techniques
