Operation Reboot Outdoors MAINE

As an organization they concentrate on their outdoor Missions; their number one priority is creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and brotherhood and giving their ReBoot Veterans a sense of purpose again.

From their website – heir Mission Statement…

Operation ReBoot Outdoors is a 501c3 non-profit organization that concentrates on getting Veterans, LEOs, and service members out of the house and into nature, providing healing through hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreational activities. We do not turn anyone away here at ORO. If there is a Veteran who needs a reboot, who served honorably or are currently serving our country, they qualify for our services. We are thankful for our ability as Veterans and Registered Maine Guides to help other Veterans reset their back azimuth to True North.

As an organization we concentrate on our outdoor Missions; our number one priority is creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and brotherhood and giving our ReBoot Veterans a sense of purpose again. Our Guide Service focuses 100% of its time and resources to our non-profit operation. Since our inception in 2019, we have served 593 Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, and Active Duty Service Members, with 203 of those outdoor Missions taking place when most needed during the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic. We are successful with relatively limited resources, with all Missions completed on public and private land and with a 100% volunteer staff. Our goal is to provide the same level of service that clients would experience at a large, established outfitter here in Maine.
