Taking advantage of the Foundation’s matching grant to help solve COVID-19 related community needs, the Waterville Lodge donated $10,000 and helped turn it into $40,000 to support a great food assistance program being provided by the Alfond Youth & Community Center (AYCC). The Foundation matched the Waterville Lodge donation and created a $20,000 donation which was provided to AYCC and allowed them to take advantage of a similar matching grant provided by the Harold Alfond Foundation, thus turning $10,000 into $40,000 to help provide evening meals and snacks to those suffering during these difficult times.
